Aishmuqam, February 13th: The People’s Democratic Party today held a workers convention at Townhall, Aishmuqam.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman Parliamentary Board PDP and former Deputy Speaker Mohammed Sartaj Madni. Hundreds of staunch party workers participated in the meeting.
While addressing the meeting Mohd Sartaj Madni expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Pahalgam constituency for standing shoulder to shoulder with the party.
” Mufti sahab had a personal affection for people of Pahalgam constituency. He always considered it as his second home. People here also reciprocated the love in equal measure and worked tirelessly to strengthen the party at grassroots level,” Madni said.
Emphasizing the need to redouble the efforts, Madni extolled the party workers to gear up for upcoming Parliamentary elections.
” I urge all the party workers to strive towards ensuring party’s victory in the upcoming Parliamentary elections so that the voice of people reaches the highest echelon of democracy,” he added.
Youth General Secretary South Kashmir Najmu Saqib, Zone President Pahalgam Irfan Ahmed Kullar, Zone President Youth Akhlaq Tantray, Town President Youth Aishmuqam Junaid Magray, Fayaz Wani, Shafi Qazi and others also addressed the meeting.
