PHD Chamber Of Commerce and  Industry-(PHDCCI), Kashmir, through its Executive Committee Panel, laid out a map of mutual convergence between the government and stakeholders in the industry, commerce, tourism and other related fields to usher in a new era of cooperation  to make  ease of doing business a grand success, and it also focused to adapt to the Business Action  Reform Plan of Government of India.

These points were discussed in a detailed and fruitful  interactive  welcome session organized by PHDCCI, Kashmir  in honour of Director Industries ,Kashmir  Saloni Rai . The idea was to exchange views on the issue and find a common path of mutual cooperation  in which both sides become listening posts to each other and work unitedly  to strengthening  the vision of Kashmir as a land of development in all spheres.

Mushtaq  Ahmad Chaya, Mentor PHDCCI , and founding chair of Mumtaz Group of Hotels , in his opening remarks at the session , welcomed Solani and expressed the hope that she would do the handholding of the industrial sector in Kashmir . He listed the excellence of the work of Kashmiri artisans, hospitality sector as also other areas of the industry in the Valley, and suggest4d that there always is scope for improvement and more cooperation . He also underlined the need to understand the Kashmir industry, the people associated with it, and how they are navigating their way forward. The patronage and cooperation of the Industries department is need of the hour, as it was in the past, now and in future.

A release of PHDCCI said, “ The Interaction meet was to discuss the Issues in industry and how Stakeholders and Industry department can adapt to work towards the successful implementation of New Industrial Development Scheme with e improvement in ranking of ease of doing business under Business Action reform Plan of government of India.

Speaking on the occasion in her address to the EC Members  Saloni Rai  said , “  I really appreciate and thank you for inviting me to the EC meeting of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss the future of the Industrial Investment in J&K, the Suggestions and Issues that we discuss today will be vital for the long term health of the industry, and vital for long term benefits to all Stakeholders. “

“I have heard a range of opinions and Suggestions from various stakeholders and representatives of Industry by Incessant interactions since I joined the department and today also through your discussion and debate, I am optimistic that we will altogether commit to faster industrial development of Kashmir. So, we will continue to reflect on how best to resolve the Issues of Industry for the medium and long-term, and let me convey to all of you that my doors will always remain open for Industry Stakeholders and youth of Kashmir, so that we can arrive at a solution that balances the competing interests, and provides the solution to any issues faced by the industry.”

Chairman PHDCCI Kashmir  Baldev Sing Raina delivered his welcome address and the session was moderated jointly by Co-Chair  Vicky Shaw and Deputy Director PHDCCI-J&K Iqbal Fayaz Jan wherein the EC members put their Suggestions and issues before Director Industries Kashmir and prominent among them Includes  Mohd Shafi Tramboo, Jan Muhammad Kaul,  Bilal Ahmad Bhat,  Himayu Wani,  Showket Choudhary, Pervaiz Qalander,  Showket Mirani,  Haleem Bhat,  Akib Chaya, Mushtaq Ahamd Mir, Wahid Rather,  Qaiser Mir,  Shahana Fatima,  Fayaz Ahamd Bhat, Saleem Bhat.
