Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is likely to visit Jammu and Kashmir in the month of May 2018 to lay the foundation stones of various developmental projects.
The official sources in J&K Government informed that Prime Minister is likely to visit J&K in May this year to lay foundation of series of developmental projects, majority of those being executed under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP). He will also attend a function of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SKUAST) in the state.
If Modi will visit the state in May it will be his first visit to J&K in year 2018 and after that he will only come for election campaign rally before his ongoing tenure of PM
This will be Modi’s first visit to J&K in a little over a year after he inaugurated Chenani-Nashri tunnel in Udhampur district on April 2, 2017.
