Srinagar, September 21: Jammu & Kashmir police on Thursday arrested a Deputy Superintendent of Police (Dy. SP) on charges of corruption, extortion and fraud here, according to police sources.
There are serious charges of corruption and fraud against the officer . Sheikh Adil was arrested from his Srinagar home. Many electronic gadgets, including his laptop and phone have been seized.
SIT formed under SP south will investigate the case keeping in view its possible serious ramifications, they added.
