Srinagar, April 13: A Snatching incident took place outside Burn Hall school Sonwar here yesterday in which two drug addicts fled after snatching a bag of a tourist.
The drug addicts fled with Rs 16000 but were arrested by police in a swift action.
Giving details, Srinagar police said that they arrested two accused Tuha Naseer Shalla of Khayam Chowk and Owais Wani of Kalipora Khanyar in a snatching case. “They were on a bike and ran away after committing the crime. Both of them are drug addicts and were arrested. All the stolen items including cash were recovered from their possession and the bike was also seized,” police said.
In this regard a case was already registered in police station Ram Munshi Bagh under relevant sections.
