Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said he will be sharing a message with the nation at 6 pm on Tuesday.

PM Modi made the announcement in a tweet. “Will be sharing a message with my fellow citizens at 6 pm this evening,” PM Modi wrote on Twitter.

While PM Modi did not specify but experts speculate that PM’s address could be on the coronavirus situation in the country view as the festival season approaches.

India on Tuesday reported less than 50,000 coronavirus cases after over two months. India on Tuesday added 46,791 fresh coronavirus cases to the total tally, taking the Covid-19 caseload in the country to just over 75.97 lakh, according to the data released by the health ministry.

Active cases of Covid-19 in India are now less than 10 per cent of the total caseload, while the number of people who have recuperated from the disease has crossed 67 lakh pushing the national recovery rate to 88.63 per cent, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
