S. Manjit Singh says people pinned their hopes with the Party

SAMBA, August 23: Prominent, Other Backward Classes (OBC) leaders along with their supporters today joined Apni Party here at Vijaypur, Samba District.

As per a press release, the joining cum meeting was organised at Vijaypur in which prominent OBC leaders, Tarsem Lal Verma, and Rodu Ram Gandhi along with their supporters have joined the Apni Party in presence of the Apni Party’s Provincial President, Jammu and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh, expressing their faith in the leadership of the Party.

Welcoming the new entrants into the Party fold, the Former Minister expressed his faith that their joining will strengthen the party at the grass root level.

Addressing the participants, S. Manjit Singh said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have expressed their faith in the leaders of the Party President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and the policy of the Party for equitable development, and employment to meet the challenges faced by the people of this erstwhile state.

He said that the people of this state have expressed their strong resentment against the traditional political parties because of their hollow slogans, regional approach and unfulfilled promises.

“These traditional political parties have lost their faith. The people do not trust them anymore because of their unfulfilled promises, and regional/religious bias approach that has compromised peace, development, and employment in Jammu as well as Kashmir regions,” said S. Manjit Singh.

The Former Minister said that the people want to bring change in Jammu and Kashmir, and accordingly, they have high expectations from the Apni Party, and its leadership to bring sustainable development in both the regions, explore employment opportunities, and protect the land/jobs from the non-locals.

He also raised the alarming situation in which the local people in Jammu have developed a feeling that their rights were compromised, and they have to give major shares to the non – locals in the industrial sector, mining, and construction sectors.

He said that if the Party forms the Govt in Jammu and Kashmir, the development would be revamped to bring a new era of peace, stability and development.

Meanwhile, he elaborated about the policy and programs of the party that would be implemented for the welfare of the people, if the Party forms the Govt.

He appealed to the people to vote and support the party candidates in the scheduled elections for legislative assembly.
