Srinagar, June 8:
Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday appointed Executive President of J&K Bank as the new chairman cum managing director of the bank.
The Finance Department in exercise of its powers ordered the cessation of current chairman Pervez Ahmad as a member of the board of Directors of the J&K bank and also removed him from the position of Chairman cum Managing Director of the bank.
It ordered that R K Chibber will take over as interim chairman cum interim MD of the bank.
