In the District Reasi, “Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Reasi” is constantly working as a common platform for all the Central Government offices for proper compliance of the Official Language Policy and promotion of Hindi. The first half-yearly meeting for the year 2020-21 of this committee was conducted online on 29August 2020. The meeting was chaired by Shri N,Ram,Head of Power Station, Salal Power Station. Shri Kumar Pal Sharma, Deputy Director (Implementation) attended the online meeting as a special guest from Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. In addition to this Mr. Shravan Kumar, Manager (Rajbhasha), from UCO Bank’s Zonal Office, Jalandhar, Mrs. SaritaKumari, Manager (Official Language),from Bank of Baroda , Regional Office, Jalandhar, , Smt. Munnavar Sultana, Deputy Manager (Rajbhasha) from State Bank of India, Administrative Office, Jammu, Smt. Rita Devi, Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) from Union Bank of India, Regional Office, Jalandhar and Mr. SadanandChitle, Rajbhasha Officer from the Headquarters of Konkan Railway, Mumbai joined the meeting particularly, they joined online and expressed their views regarding compliance with the Official Language policy.
In order to ensure proper compliance of the Official Language policy all the member offices of the committee has discussed the various agendas in detail and were motivated to propagate the Official Language Hindi.
Deputy General Manager (E&C) of Salal Power Station, Mr. Satyawan welcomed to the Chairman of NARAKAS,Mr. N. Ram,Head of Power Station, Salal Power Stationby offering a bunch of flowers. Smt Shivani Bisht, Senior Manager (HR)effectively hosted this online meeting, welcomed, and greeted all the office presidents involved. In the meeting, the Chairman received information from the member offices of NARAKAS regarding compliance of the Official Language Policyand promotion of Hindi.He alsopresented his presidential address. Shri Kumar Pal Sharma, Deputy Director (Implementation), who joined as a special guest from the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, threw light on many aspects of Official Language Policy.
Shri Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Asstt.Manager (Rajbhasha), Salal Power Station presented the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere.
