During observance of ‘Hindi Pakhwara’ from 01.09.2020 to 15.09.2020, Salal Power Station organised ‘Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was organised in Conference Hall, at Jyotipuram among the employees of Power Station. 20 employees had participated and recited their self composed poetry. The contest was organised to sensitise the employees and others to promote our mother tongue and take pride of being an Indian.
On this occasion Smt. Pushptala, The first lady of Salal Power Station graced the event with her benign presence as Chief Guest. Sh. N. Ram, Head of Power Station, and other Senior Officers and NHPC employees were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Pushptala said that the message of a poet can be better undersood when their poems are recited. She recalled the work of all great poets of Hindi viz. Mahadevi Verma, Subhadra Kumari Chahuhan, Atal Bihari Bajpayee , Harivansh Rai Bachhan and others. She further appreciated all the participants for reciting their self composed poetry and making the event joyful.
Dr. Dheeraj Sharma , Senior DCMO and Sh. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) anchored the proceedings.
