Srinagar, 20 June, 2023: Bhupinder Kumar ISecretary to the Govt Health and Medical Education Department J&K today conducted extensive tour of Govt Medical and its Associated Hospitals at Handawara and Langate.
He inspected each and every section / Department of the GMC Handwara.
He also inspected CHC Langate which has been made part of GMC Handwara recently & also inspected the building which was earlier occupied by higher education department for Govt Degree College Langate and got vacated being property of the Hospital.
Secretary H& ME got it vacated &!restored back to the Department as it was required by GMC Handwara.
He was accompanied by Dr Yashpal Sharma,Director Coordination New Medical Colleges ,J& K
He also inspected the newly constructed make shift building and upcoming buildings of the GMC hospital at Handwara.
Sh Bhupinder Kumar IAS while interacting with the media Persons also mentioned that in a record shortest possible time GMC Handwara got 35 Faculty members besides other required manpower,there has been lot of inputs and visible changes in Health care sectors are on Ground and more to come in Coming days when GMC HANDWARA is made fully functional and operational. MBBS Classes are being Started from next month besides Nursing and Paramedical courses.
