Two sons of separatist leader Ashraf Seharai who were arrested for raising anti-national slogans on the funeral of their father are likely to be released any time from now onwards, the informed sources told JK News Today
The sources said that it has been decided to release Mujahid and Raashid, two sons of Ashraf seharai who had died due to Covid-19 in Government Medical college hospital , Jammu o n May 5 , any time.
The police had stated earlier that the two were arrested for raising anti-national slogans on May 6 at the time of the funeral of their father, but it had also clarified that they were not booked under Public Safety Act.
It may be recalled that the police have already released 17 youth who were arrested in connection with the protests over the Israeli attacks on Palestinians. The police had stated that the arrests were made to avoid a law and order situation .
