Various public deputations and individuals today met Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, here at the Civil Secretariat.
The deputations raised their problems and demands and sought an early redressal to the same.
Advisor said that prompt public grievances redressal is priority of the government and a robust mechanism has been put in place for quick response and redressal.
A delegation from Watakulo village of Budgam led by political leader and former VC JK Cements Limited Engineer Nazir Ahmad Yatoo demanded macadamization of Watakulo-Banjerbani road.
Another delegation from the area demanded macadamisation of Watakulo-Chadoora road besides raising issues regarding improvement in basic amenities in their village.
Advisor assured the people that all the grievances and issues raised by them would be forwarded to the concerned departments for redressal in a time bound manner.
