On 14th of September 2021 Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur organised a cultural evening programme in the Auditorium of Police Academy. Trainees among training courses of Probationer Dy.SsP, Prob. Sub-Inspectors and Firemen participated in the cultural program. This program was organized on the eve of Passing Out Parade of Fireman and Fireman Drivers scheduled to be held on 16th of September 2021at Police Academy. Dr B. Sriniwas, IPS, Director Fire and Emergency Services, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Participants were seen jubilant and overwhelmingly participated in the cultural activities of the Police Academy and the spectators also responded in the same tone. Dr. S.D. Singh Jamwal IPS Director Police Academy Udhampur while speaking on the occasion appreciated the cultural performance by the trainees. He also advised the trainees to undergo their basic training whole heartedly at Police Academy and also wished Firemen/Firemen Drivers bright service career in their professional field. Dr. B. Sriniwas, IPS, Director Fire and Emergency Services while speaking on the occasion also appreciated the cultural performance by the trainees. He also advised the firemen to exert full strength in their parade presentation on Passing out parade. Dr. Sriniwas reminded the training activities of the Academy of the year 1990 and said that this training institution has now grown up to the level of Academy with adequate level of infrastructure and now every police officer and men would feel pride to undergo trainings at police academy. He said though he was away from the Firemen team during their training period, but he has regularly enquired about their training and ensured full logistic support required for imparting professional training to them. Dr. Sriniwas also appreciated the role of police academy under the command of Dr. S.D.Singh, IPS Director Police Academy in imparting best training to the Firemen and Firemen drivers which was observed during their Full Dress parade Rehearsal on 14.09.2021 at Academy. Shri Mohan Lal JKPS (SSP) DD (Indoor/R&D) conveyed vote of thanks at the end and also invited all for Bara Khan.
Among others Vijay Kumar Jamwal, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Outdoor), Vinay Kumar, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Administration), Suraj Singh, AD (R&D) Sh. K.K. Sharma AD (Q), Sunmati Gupta, AD (Outdoor), Tahir Hussain AD (Admn)/ Nodal Officer Cultural programme and Shri Ramesh Kataria Dy.SP(S) Pvt. Secretary to Director SKPA Udhampur were also present on the occasion.
