Public issues will be solved in time bound manner: Sahni

Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit today opened the first Grievances and Support Centre, which is first of its kind, in Bari Brahmana with a view to address the issues being faced by common masses.


The centre was inaugurated by Manish Sahni, Party’s State President along with Women Wing President, Meenakshi Chibber.


Talking to reporters here, Sahni informed that Shiv Sena’s Grievance and Support Center will be opened in every Tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory as directed by the Party’s High Command and National Secretary and Rajya Sabha Member, Anil Desai. Today, the first centre was launched in Bari Brahmana, Sahni said, adding that the common issues of the public are being ignored, due to which the public is facing huge troubles.


Sahni said that on the very first day today, about two dozen complaints including medical, water, road, corruption have been registered. In order to resolve these complaints, Shiv Sena leaders have been instructed to contact the authorities concerned and provide all possible help to needy. He said that if any government official shall adopt lackadaisical attitude in resolving people’s issue than these complaints shall be taken up with the Lt Governor and its Advisor and necessary action will be sought against the officers.


Sahni assured the public that the names of complaints against corruption and corrupt officials, shall be kept secret. He rued that already the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir has topped among the corrupt states across the country so it is the need of the hour there is dire need to initiate necessary step against the corrupt elements.


Later, Sahni also released 7006395206, 9149590523 mobile numbers for filing complaints.
Among those who were present included General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, working president Ashwani Gupta, Vice president Sofia Sagu , Secretary Raj Singh, joint Secretary Raju Salaria, Bhuri Singh and Bhangu Ram, Pawan Singh , Shivan Partap. Ravi Thakur were present.
