JAMMU: Shiv Sena (UBT), Jammu and Kashmir unit, sought free facilities for the pilgrims of the Amarnath Yatra who are presently stranded at various locations due to adverse weather conditions.
The Shiv Sena unit has demanded that the pilgrims, who are stuck at Pahalgam, Baltal, Sheshnag, Panjtarni, and other places, should be provided with adequate facilities including accommodation and transportation in the base camps and local hotels, free of cost.

He urged the Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure that the stranded pilgrims are not burdened with additional financial expenses. He emphasized the need for arrangements to be made for transportation and accommodation facilities for the stranded pilgrims at the base camps and urged for free arrangements to be made in local hotels as well.
Sahni highlighted the importance of supporting private hotels and transportation businesses associated with the pilgrimage by providing them with financial assistance. This would enable them to offer free facilities to the stranded pilgrims and alleviate their financial burden, he added. Raj Singh, President
