Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, Jammu and Kashmir unit, registered a strong protest in a unique as well as novel way against the sky rocketing prices and inflation here today. The party activists led by its President Manish Sahni felicitated the Govt for facilitating the inclusion of Jammu and Kashmir in the club of States and UTs where petrol price has scored century @ Rs. 100 per litre.

Terming the people as inflation warriors the party ridiculed the government for its utter failure on all fronts. The Shiv Sena team honoured the public  at the main squares across Jammu and presenting to them the tag of “Dearness Warriors” for facing the skyrocketing inflation. Castigating the Govt for having failed to control the ‘Inflation Witch’ the Shiv Sena  appreciated the common people for facing the brunt on account of spine breaking inflation. He said that the common people have proved to be Janata Warriors in letter and spirit. He said that replacement of the ministers of health, education and employment departments in the Union cabinet itself proves that Modi Govt failed to make efforts to provide relief to the common people. Sahni said that petrol and diesel prices are at all-time high having made history; , LPG prices have doubled in last 7 years , while the prices of vegetables, fruits, edible oils, pulses, eggs and other essentials are out of reach.The common man is taking care of his family Like a warrior  by cutting his expenses.  On the other hand, Prime Minister Honorable Narendra Modi has increased the size of his cabinet.  Central and state governments are blaming each other for the prices hike  and the public is getting crushed in the wheel of inflation.
