Manoj Sinha, the newly appointed Lt. Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, is arriving in Srinagar and may take oath of office and secrecy today.  
Sources told JK News Today, “He is likely to take oath today and return to Delhi for some important discussions there.”
GC Murmu, the first Lt. Governor of J&K resigned Wednesday evening (05th August) on the first anniversary of abrogation of article 370 from J&K and it being bifurcated to two Union Territories (J&K and Ladakh).
The President of India later ordered the appointment of , “Shri Manoj Sinha, to be the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office vice Shri Girish Chandra Murmu.”
Murmu remained in office about nine months.
Murmu has already left for New Delhi this morning.
