Srinagar, March 13: State Investigation unit today attached house of man allegedly involved in militant activities in south Kashmir.

The house belonged to Muhammad Ishaq Malik, son of Muhammad Saifullah Malik, a resident of Bhanwetehpora village of Kokernag area of Anantnag district.

Gving details, police said that in presence of the executive magistrate, the house of the accused allegedly involved in militant activities was attached under section 25 of unlawful activities prevention Act.

A case bearing No 103/2022 U/S 307 IPC, 7/27 Arms Act 18,20,23,38 UAP Act was already registered at Police station Kokernag and the accused is currently lodged in district jail Anantnag. The property was attached by a team of SIU in presence of local sarpanch and others.

According to the notice, the owner of the house has been restrained to ‘transfer, lease out, dispose off, change its nature or deal with the said property in any manner without the permission of designated authority.
