Jammu, Jan. 10: Dr. Surender Singh, Assistant Professor, School of Mathematics, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) attended the 2024 JNVU-ABVU-AIMT International Conference on “Innovative Research in Science, Management, and Technology (ICIRSMT)”, organized at Institute of Evening Studies, Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan during 5th -7th January 2024. The conference was organized in Association with AIMT, USA, University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, USA, and Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria. Dr. Singh presented the research paper titled “Novel Fuzzy Knowledge Measure and Fuzzy Correlation Coefficient with Their Applications”, and received the best paper award in the Science & Technology Track. In this paper, positive and negative evaluations of uncertainty due to vagueness have been discussed along with the evolution of a novel method for the study of fuzzy correlation measures. Eminent Speakers and delegates from countries such as the USA, Japan, Oman, Botswana, Mauritius, Iraq, and India presented their research work in various interdisciplinary fields. The participation in this conference was supported by the Professional Development Assistance (PDA) of SMVDU. Dr. Surender Singh thanked Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU for allowing him to attend this conference. Dr. Singh interacted with eminent researchers working on applied and interdisciplinary aspects of Mathematics and expects some value addition and collaborations in his future research work.
