The deceased was a prominent party worker. Offering his heartfelt condolences, Bukhari conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family.
In his condolence message, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “It is deeply saddening to learn of the passing of Syed Showket Hussain Geelani, a kind-hearted individual and valued party colleague from the Uri constituency. In this moment of profound loss, my heartfelt condolences go out to his brothers, Syed Shafkat Hussain Geelani and Syed Shahid Geelani, and to the entire grieving family.
