Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not forget to wish “ happy birthday” to his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif despite Pakistan having mounted a series of terror attacks in India, particularly Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi tweeted : “ Birthday wishes to Pakistan PM Mr . Nawaz Sharif . I pray for his long and healthy life.” These comments have a telling message for Pakistan Prime Minister and his country, wherein he has wished him “ long and healthy life,” reflecting the Indian nation’s sentiment for the people and government of Pakistan .
These should be read against what Pakistan has been doing to India, unleashing deadly terror strikes like Uri, Nagrota , the series of which started with Pathankot in January this year immediately after Modi visited Nawaz Sharif to wish him on his birthday in Lahore, Pakistan last year .
