Jammu, January 19:

Is nothing short of a miracle  that  Jammu and Kashmir has surpassed two crore vaccines  in an energized  and  unwavering commitment to fight  the Coronavirus in the most determined  manner across the Union Territory.

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, whose  commitment to save lives of the citizens of the union territory spread across the  snow-bound Himalayan heights to the remotest corners and to the scorching plains  in all seasons , has complimented the health workers for their devotion and dedication in this fight.

Sinha  tweeted  Wednesday morning ,” Congratulations J&K on achieving milestone of 2 crore # Covid vaccine doses,” and  in the true sense of head of the population of the UT,  he expressed his gratefulness to  the healthcare workers , nurses , doctors and immunization  officials , who he said, “ are risking their lives on a daily basis to fight pandemic. This  accomplishment in J&K is extraordinary because  there were so many hurdles  and the challenges , which the LG administration surmounted to demonstrate to the people in the real humane sense that the government cares for them , no matter what difficulties come in its way in reaching out to the people.

This  transformation in the state of affairs in J&K is because there was motivation launched by the Lieutenant Governor at his personal and administrative levels to  encourage the people to overcome their vaccine hesitancy , and at the same time it were his inspiring words , set  by leading from the front in fight against the pandemic, that the health workers and others  marched ahead to accomplish a mission “ not a person to be left behind” in  getting vaccination.
