Jammu, Jan. 30: The School of Architecture and Landscape Design (SoALD) at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) hosted a comprehensive seminar on Sustainable Building Materials with a Futuristic Approach in collaboration with MMTTC SMVDU from the 23rd to the 24th January 2024. The event aimed to delve into emerging trends and practices in construction materials that prioritize sustainability and innovation. The inaugural address was delivered by Ar. Navin Gupta, Convenor of the seminar, who extended a warm welcome to esteemed guests, including Prof. Pragati Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, and Ar. A.K Singh, Head of SoALD. Additionally, the event was graced by resource persons from industry such as 3M, Asahi India Limited, and Rehau, who shared invaluable insights into sustainable building materials and their applications.
