Udhampur Sept 18: Udhampur Civil society held here a meeting here in which they condemned the attack upon shagun parihar by PDP leader and his workers .
Condemning the attack on shagun Sarita Parihar demanded stern action against all those responsible. for such attack in which a woman candidate that too a girl of martyrs was heckled. by PDP leader and his workers at a polling station in Bhagwan Mohalla area of Kishtwar when she arrived at polling station after receiving information about fake voting .
Speakers alleged that such elements who attack Shagun parihar today has past history of creating communal disharmony in the area . Speakers added that Parihar is not girl of only Kishtwar but she is daughter of entire nation who despite facing martyrdom of her father and Uncle is boldly fighting for the cause of people and strengthening nationalism and roots of democracy in militancy infested area like Kishtwar .
Society members also demanded inquiry from election commission about bogus voting at Bhagwan mohallah polling station and demanded stern action against such miscreants. who despite being presence of security forces. try to attack female candidate from kishtwar .
