The famous Mata Vaishno Devi Pilgrimage will resume on 16th August 2020 as per schedule of reopening of religious places and pilgrimage announced recently by the government of Jammu and Kashmir despite some corona positive cases at Bhawan
Setting aside the talk of postponement of the resumption of the pilgrimage, a senior official told JK News Today, “The pilgrimage (Mata Vaishno Devi) hopefully will resume on 16th August 2020 with strict adherence to SOPs.”
According to the official there are a total of about 15 corona positive cases at Bhawan till now, “which are being taken care of and they are undergoing treatment under strict isolation.”
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has been instructed to put all arrangements in place according to the SOPs and guidelinnesissued.
