Jammu, January 04: The government has extended winter vacation for summer zone schools inn jammu division for two more days, though practically the regular class work will start on Monday- January 8.
According to to a notification of the Director School Education, the vacations that were to end on Thursday- January 4, will now stand extended up to January 6 – Saturday. The next day being Sunday, the schools will open on January 8.
The government notification said that the decision to extend vacations has been taken in view of the inclement weather.
It may be recalled that all parts of Jammu are in the severe wintry conditions, with fog adding to difficulties.
