Sumbal, 27 May: A 20-year-old youth drowned to death in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday afternoon.
Reports reaching said, a youth drowned to death while taking a bath at Sumbal area in Bandipora district.
Though, locals present there tried to rescue him but he couldn’t be saved. He was taken to CHC Sumbal where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased youth has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Wani, son of Mohammad Yousuf Wani of Inderkoot Sonawari.
Meanwhile, a case in this regard has been registered and further investigations are going on.
