A few days ago , JK News Today had stated that 4 G services would be restored across J&K after January 26, and its news came true on Friday when the services were restored , much to the long-sought after relief of the masses .
The Government took 17 months to restore the 4Ginternet services .
After a long gap of 17 months , 4Gmobile services have been restored across J&K from Friday night, it has come as a massive relief for all sections of society in the entire Union Territory.
These services were suspended on the intervening night of August 4and 5, 2019, hours before Article 370 was scrapped and the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir was bifurcated into two Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir.
The suspension of the internet services had evoked international concern and the issue was spotlighted before the government of india.
There were assurances and reassurances that the 4G would be restored soon, but ultimately those assurances took exactly 17 months to translate into reality.
