Two terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) group were killed in an encounter today with security forces led by Jammu and Kashmir Police in Pampore.
According to Police one terrorist identified as Umar Mustaq Khandey who was involved in killing two JKP personnel besides several other terror crimes. Second terrorist is Shaheed Khurshid of Srinagar city who was involved in recent civilian killings in the city.
After civilian killings Shahid Khurshid and Shahid Bashir shifted to Pulwama district and Mukhtar to Shopian district. These two terrorists of srinagar city and one of Ganderbal got killed in recent encounters.
“We have neutralised 3 out of 5 terrorists of srinagar city within less than 24 hours,” JKP Officials
A total of nine encounters have taken place in last nine days which have resulted in killing of 13 terrorists
