Jammu, April 05:

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has built a new relationship with the political leaders of Jammu and Kashmir by showing his humane side in the hour of their health crisis .

Sinha  visited  former chief minister Farooq Abdullah  in SKIMS in Srinagar on  Sunday to enquire about his  health. Farooq Abdullah had tested Covid-19 positive and doctors  attending on him  had  advised his hospitalization .

Earlier , on learning  about Farooq Abdullah testing positive , the Lieutenant Governor had sent him messages of speedy recovery..

Today, the LG spoke to former  Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussein Beigh  who also had tested positive along with his wife. Both are quarantined in their home.

Manoj Sinha has shown his humane side to the political leadership of Jammu and Kashmir. Not only that he has listened to the grievances of all the political leaders who called on him  and also  assured  and acted on their genuine concerns, but also shown a rare sensitivity toward the political class that approached him for redressal of their grievances . This has changed the political climate of Kashmir , where, there was a time when the political class had started feeling distanced from Raj Bhavan. There also was a time when acute confrontation had brewed between  the political leaders and the Raj Bhavan.

But Manoj Sinha has won reverence from the people and politicians for his humane and practical approach . He has lived up to his reputation of being a doer and “ Vikas Parush.”

One of the political leaders who met him recently  told JKNEWS TODAY that “ Manoj Sinha listened to him  for over an hour and tried to approach the issues with an objective of helping the people  as per their needs across the Union Territory.
