The Indian army has launched an awareness campaign to educate the rural population how to avoid accidents and keep roads safe.
Considering large number of road accidents resulting in loss of precious human lives and valuable properties, a Road Safety Awareness Campaign was conducted, a spokesperson of the army said on Saturday.
To reinforce the Traffic etiquette’s and road safety measures, the Indian Army at Gool organised lecture cum demonstration on “Road Safety and Traffic Rules”.
The event highlighted the ignorance aspects and the road safety measures. The event witnessed large number of voluntary participation by 180 locals, mainly youth and drivers.
