Srinagar, February 6: To strengthen the affinity and provide assistance to the poor and the differently abled persons, the Army came forward in a notable endeavour by distributing Wheel Chairs and Crutches in a solemn function in the village of Chandanwari. The beneficiaries hailed from the adjoining villages of Uranbua and Thattamulla
The Commander, Pir Panjal Brigade distributed Wheel Chairs and Crutches to the needy persons of the villages and this unprecedented event in Chandanwari village evoked great enthusiasm amongst the local population. The Commander also addressed the people gathered at the venue and sought constructive suggestions to improve the livelihood of the residents. This gesture and effort by the Army was highly appreciated by the Awaam.
