The counting for 243 member Bihar legislative Assembly started at 8 Tuesday morning to decide fate of the NDA and Mahagathbandhan.
The exit polls had projected advantage to MGB.
The contest has narrowed between the incumbent Chief Minister Natish Kumar and his fierce rival from RJD Tejashwi Yadav.
The polls will also determine where the BJP stands in the overall contest. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has addressed several rallies to campy for NDA candidates.
Nitish Kumar is facing huge anti- incumbency factor .
