BSF Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) Jammu celebrated ‘BWWA DAY ’ with joy and fervour at Trikuta Hall, in the premises of Jammu Frontier. Smt Sunita Boora, President, BWWA Jammu inaugurated the programme in the presence of others BWWA members and BSF families.
On this occasion of 30th BWWA Day, Sunita Boora, President, BWWA Jammu said that our association is committed to reach out to our families and conduct various welfare programme has always been our priority and work.
She further said that the continuous and tireless efforts of BWWA members of Jammu Frontier to organize courses like tailoring, beauty parlour training and other skilled programmes to enhance the skills of BSF families and their wards to achieve new heights in career.
During the programme, President, BWWA Jammu felicitated the widows of border men and distributed prizes to all the participants who presented the colourful cultural programme. She also interacted with BSF families and addressed them about latest welfare schemes and information of BSF education facilities and pension benefits of the NOK/wards of deceased.
BWWA was established in this force on 18 Sept’ 1992 and BWWA Day has been observed in all battalions and institutions of this force every year in the month September.
