Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has complimented Kashmiri youth for displaying a great sense of responsibility and coomtment to peace by rejecting the designs of subversive elements who wanted to create a volatile situation in the Valley since September 2.
In a message to the security forces and to the people of Kashmir, youth in particular, the DGP on Tuesday reflected on the whole situation that arose after the death of a separatist leader and the way Pakistani establishment tried to incite troubles in Kashmir.
Many rumours were circulated through social media and also through the official media organisations from Pakistan to distort the whole sequence of events in a clear design to stir violence in the Valley.
Taking note of all these designs, the J&K police, along with other wings of security forces , kept a close watch over the situation and kept the whole thing trouble- free.
DGP Dilbag Singh while showering praise on security forces, made a special mention of the people and youth for helping maintain peace.
In his message, Dilbag Singh said that it was due to the cooperation of all that the situation is back to normal, restrictions have been lifted, Internet is back . He expected this cooperation to become a template for strengthening peace in the region.
DGP J&K Dilbag Singh has complimented Police CAPF and Army deployments for highly professional handling of ground situation over the last 5 days.
Special restraint shown by police and security forces and very responsible conduct of the local people especially youth is highly appreciated.
He has said that we have to move forward together to strengthen peace identifying the enemies of peace and weaning out the mischievous elements strictly dealing with them under law.
Most of the restrictions are eased including the Internet and situation is fully normal in both regions of Kashmir and jammu but under close watch,he has further stated.
