Director General of Police, (DGP), Dr S P Vaid today announced 160 promotions in Telecommunication and Ministerial Executive Cadre in Jammu and Kashmir Police. Among the promoted officials are 24 Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspector, 29 Assistant Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Sub-Inspector and 107 Head Constables to Assistant-Sub Inspector.
Dr. Vaid has congratulated the promoted personnel and has asked them to rededicate for public service. The Sub-Inspectors from MEC include M/S Nimi Raina Makhan Singh, Ghulam Ahmad, Abul Hussain, Sunil Kumar, Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, Habibullah Hajam and Ghulam Qadir Mir.
Sub-Inspectors from Telecom include M/S Harjit Singh, Chatter Singh, Darshan Singhh, Romesh Kumar Bhat, Abdul Samad Wani, Veer Ji Koul, Nazir Ahmed Wani, Nazir Ahmed, Krishen Lal, Baskar Nath Bhat, Prem Dass, Abdul Rehman, Mir Hussain, Sukhdev Singh, Mohammad Yousuf Dar and Surinder Pal.
Accordingly, ASIs from MEC promoted include M/S Falak Naaz, Jagan Singh, Fayaz Ahnad Lone, Ghulam Hassan Raina, Reyaz Ahmad Ganie, Bashir Ahmad Baba, Suresh Kumar, Anita Sharma and Suresh Kumar.
In the Telecommunication ASIs promoted include M/S Shamim Ahmed, Nana Kumar, Habib Ullah, Ghulam Jeelani, Shabir Ahmed, Mohammad Ibrhim, Raja Ji Raina, Mohammad Manzoor, Mohammad Yousuf, Farooq Ahmed, Ghulam Hassan, Ranbir Singh, Mohammad Yousuf Magrey, Rakesh Kumar, Satesh Kumar, Mohammad Jabar, Rakesh Kumar Koul, Bashir Ahmed Bhat, Kalu Ram and Ghulam Nabi Lone
