SRINAGAR: J&K Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh on Thursday reviewed overall security arrangements of the Union Territory (UT) ahead of Eid-ul-Adha and Independence Day celebrations.
A police spokesperson said that a high level security review meeting was held at Police Headquarters (PHQ) Srinagar today under the chairmanship of Director General of Police J&K Shri Dilbag Singh. “During the meeting over all security scenario of the UT particularly security arrangements with regard to EID, and Independence Day were discussed,” he said.
He said the efforts of collective fight against the COVID-19 pandemic by the Police, CAPFs and Civil Administration were also discussed.
