For the convenience of general public and other stakeholders, district administration Udhampur today started SMS service for COVID reporting.
Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib stated that the initiative has been taken by the District Administration for quick and seamless reporting to facilitate general masses and other stakeholders. The SMS notification service shall ensure delivery of time-bound reports without any paper work in consonance with zero touch policy amid the pandemic.
She said that the SMS notification from 1st to 5th May for Covid Test Result has been sent which shall help the people to know their result in time at the click of a button. The initiative would also help to segregate the positive cases in time to minimize the spread of deadly infection.
The DC also said that the test result of 6th of May is being sent to the stakeholders. She urged upon the common masses to get go for testing and isolate themselves if infected, to help the administration break the chain of the transmission. She further appealed to the public for following COVID appropriate behaviour and other Government directives in letter and spirit.
