The elected representatives of the recently concluded District Development council polls will take oath all across the 20 districts of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday ( December 28), according to office of the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

It was on the watch of Manoj Sinha that these grassroots strengthening democratic polls were held.

In a tweet the office of the LG said that the elected representatives will take oath under the constitution of India and soon they will elect the DDC chairmen .”

He said “ I am confident hoped that the elected representatives will complement the efforts of the Government.”

Sinha reiterated the words of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “ The people of J&K have manifested their faith in the democratic process. Youth, women , elders of J&K have voted for strengthening grassroots democracy and paving the way for progressive future of J&K.”

Sehat message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah . The UT administration was lauded for taking steps for welfare of people and accentuating overall development in the region.
