Banihal ; 18th March; National Conference (NC) leader and district president Ramban Sajjad Shaheen has urged the LG lead administration to make all adequate arrangements including uninterrupted power and water supplies for ensuing holy month of Ramadan in district Ramban including Gool.
Shaheen also underlined the need for the constitution of special market checking squads to keep the check on profiteering, hoarding and black-marketing and also asked the district and the local administration to ensure strict implementation of government approved rate list.
Shaheen further demanded that the district and Tehsil level authorities must ensure availability of essential commodities in the market including vegetables and poultry besides timely supply of gas, Kerosene, flour and sugar from the government depots to the consumers.
Shaheen further stressed on the need for uninterrupted power and water supply across the district particularly far flung areas of all the Tehsils of Banihal, Khari ,Ramsoo and Ukharhal besides Ramban, Gool, Batote, Sangaldan and other areas.
He asked PDD and PHE departments to direct their ground level staff to ensure that there is hassle-free water and electricity supply to the consumers during the holy month of Ramadan particularly during Sehri and Iftaar time.
