The so-called Gilgit-Baltistan government has requisitioned army deployment to quell protests that have swept the region following a massive rigging in the recently held Asset polls.


The reports have suggested that the GBGovernment has written letter to the federal government asking for army troops to quests the protests which erupted after the rigging in polls was detected.

“ it was naked rigging in the polls “ Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has claimed . The rigging has also been alleged by PML-N leaders.


The GB government ,unable to control the anger and protests of the people over rigging in the polls ,, has sought the help of more army troops to keep the situation under control.


The polls were held on November 15 but full results have not been declared so far. Unofficial tally has given 11 seats to PTI and the party”s tally has gone up to 16 , one short of the simple majority of 17 in the House of 33.
The voters have alleged that there were numerous irregularities and the results were being manipulated.
