Jammu and Kashmir police recovered a huge IED weighing 10 Kg that the terrorists were planning to use for a “ spectacular “ terror attack in Kashmir.
Kashmir police tweeted that this recovery was made after some suspects were questioned on the basis of specific inputs about the possible terror attack.
By this recovery , the police have averted a major terror attack.
IEDs are used by terrorists to target convoys of security forces and also to cause civilian casualties.
It may be recalled that on February 14, 2019, a terror attack in which RDX was used, had left 44 CRPF personnel dead.
