The railways have announced cancellation of several trains from different parts of country to Katra, the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi with effect from May 17. Most of these trains originate from Gujarat.
Divisional Railway Manager Rajesh Agrawal stated that in the wake of cyclone warning on 17-05-2021 and 18-05-2021 in coastal Gujarat region, following trains pertaining to Firozpur division will be cancelled-
- Train No. 04678, SVDK-HAPA, (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Hapa) with journey commencement date 17.05.2021 is cancelled.
- Train No. 04680 , SVDK-JAM, (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Jamnagar) with journey commencement date 16.05.2021 is cancelled.
- Train No. 04677,HAPA-SVDK, (Hapa – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) with journey commencement date 18.05.2021 is cancelled.
- Train No. 04679 ,JAM-SVDK, (Jamnagar – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) with journey commencement date 19.05.2021 is cancelled.
