New Delhi, October 29:

Six non-profits and belief and 9 locations, together with the property of former Delhi Minority Commission chief Zafarul-Islam Khan have been raided by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a terror funding case.

The six NGOs raided by the NIA are Falah-e-Aam Trust, Charity Alliance, Human Welfare Foundation, JK Yateem Foundation, Salvation Movement, and J&Ok Voice of Victims.

The two NGOs Charity Alliance and Human Welfare Foundation are based mostly in Delhi, whereas the remainder are based mostly in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar.

Mr Khan is the founding editor of the newspaper Milli Gazette and chairman of Charity Alliance.

Today’s searches are continued from yesterday’s raids by the NIA at 10 places in Srinagar and one in Bengaluru in reference to the case during which some non-profits are suspected of elevating funds in India and overseas for finishing up separatist exercise in Jammu and Kashmir.
