Jammu, May 1: The Indian government has kept its long- range missiles ready to target Pakistan , the country that staged barbaric terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, massacring 26 civilians, 25 of them tourists , a report in Times of India said on Thursday.

“Top-level sources indicate that New Delhi is weighing punitive options that include long-range precision strikes—without crossing the Line of Control. Prime Minister Modi has granted the armed forces full operational freedom, with possible deployment of Rafale jets armed with advanced standoff weapons. High-value terror infrastructure in Pakistan’s Bahawalpur and Muridke, known hubs of Lashkar-e-Taiba, are said to be on the radar.” The ToI report said, adding: “The strike is expected within hours, as India signals resolve without triggering full-scale escalation”
