BANDIPORA, 12 June: Indian Army’s 13RR on Monday organised a free medical camp With An Aim to provide medical assistance to poor people of area at Chewa village of Sonawari area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district

DDC Member Hajin-A Naza Begum, Major Arun Kumar, Panchayat Forum President Rather Mehraj and PRIs of the area was Present on the occasion.

A Team of doctor’s from Indian Army and Civil health department conducted the camp and provided locals with preventive care, treatment and medicines.

After necessary consultation by the medical officer, free medicines to the needy person were also distributed.

During the medical camp more than 200 patients from the said areas and more than 300 Gujjar and Bakarwal take free medication and treatment from the medical camp patients from village’s of SK Bala, Chewa and adjoining areas got treated in the camp.

The people of area appreciated the efforts of Indian Army in the various sectors and expressed gratitude over the Indian army for conducting the medical camp.

Medical Camp was organised for extending primary health care and facilitating provisioning of free medical advice to poor and needy people of the area.
