Jammu, November 21:
A soldier of the Indian army was killed in an unprovoked firing from across the Line of Control in Nowshera sector about 150 kms north-west of Jammu on Saturday morning, according to an army spokesperson.
The spokesperson said that Pakistan opened fire on the Indian positions at the LoC from across in ceasefire violation, in which one soldier was killed in action.
He said that the Indian army was giving a befitting reply.
Pakistan has been violating ceasefire almost on regular basis at the LoC in a bid to push armed terrorists into the Indian side to foment trouble.
