The Income Tax department conducted raids on the premises of some eading jewellers in Lakhdatta Bazar and Jain Bazar on Friday .
This is the first IT raid in Jammu following the announcement of the demonetization of the high value notes of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 notes .
Exact details are not known. But all the jewelers in Jammu city have shuttered down their set ups in protest
