Jammu,— The Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Pickleball Association (JKAPA) is delighted to announce that Jammu will host the AIPA 9th National Championship from 26th to 28th September, the biggest pickleball event ever to be organized in the region. This landmark tournament will bring together top players from across the country, showcasing the rapid growth of pickleball in India and the rising sports culture in Jammu & Kashmir.
“We are proud and excited to welcome the nation’s finest athletes to Jammu,” said a JKAPA spokesperson. “This is not just a tournament—it is a celebration of sportsmanship, unity, Since 2013, AIPA has consistently hosted its National Championships across various locations in India, building a strong legacy.
JKAPA urges all participating players and teams to remain focused on their game and not be distracted by unnecessary confusion. The ongoing matter between the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) and another association is already subjudice, with the case reserved for judgment in court. We also welcome the decision of National Sports Governance Bill, however as per the statement of ministry it will take another 6 months to be implemented but new regulations will change the dynamics of Sports in India.
“Our priority is to ensure a smooth, professional, and competitive Nationals in Jammu,” the spokesperson added. “We appeal to every athlete to stay committed to their training, performance, and fair play. Let the court decide the legal matters—on the field, it’s all about the game.”
